You opened the eyes of the blind”
the Church has perverted communion
a stale cracker dipped in grape juice
don’t get me wrong
i love the idea of the Lord’s supper
but wouldn’t it be better
if we actually communed?
why don’t we have a real supper?
a glass of wine, sure
and a slice of bread
but some pasta and a green salad too
cups of water
and mac and cheese
fresh fruit and Ritz crackers
for the picky kiddos
